Accessibility Statement

Last updated:

The library is designed to make educational reading available across screen sizes and input methods. Its accessibility work aims toward WCAG 2.1 AA practices, without claiming an independent audit or universal conformance certification.

Reading and navigation

Pages use semantic headings, a skip link, visible keyboard focus, and labelled navigation. Reference text is included in the initial HTML so it can be read without JavaScript. Illustrations have text alternatives, and the layout adapts to narrow screens. Browser zoom is not disabled. Motion effects respect a reduced-motion preference where they are used.

Forms and privacy controls

Contact fields have visible labels and required-field information. Status and error messages are presented as text rather than color alone. Inline cookie choices give acceptance, rejection, and preference management equal visual weight. Category controls are on the Cookie Policy page, without a pop-up. A server-submitted rejection remains available when JavaScript is disabled; individual category controls require scripting.

Known boundaries

Browser extensions, assistive-technology combinations, and external documentation can behave differently. The local search interface and contact-form enhancement use JavaScript, while ordinary page links and a complete sitemap remain available without it. The site cannot promise the accessibility of manufacturer or other third-party destinations linked as sources, but reports about difficult source links are welcome.

Report a barrier

Choose Accessibility on the Contact form or email info@driversoftguidegmail.com. Include the page address, the action you were trying to complete, and the barrier encountered. Browser and assistive-technology details can help if you are comfortable providing them; no medical information is needed. We do not promise a particular response time, but reports can identify practical improvements to the library.

Standard and ongoing limitations

Our target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA, including readable contrast and usable keyboard navigation. This is a target, not a certification or completed independent audit. The explanatory illustrations are conceptual and their text alternatives cannot communicate every visual detail. The contact form and individual preference controls need JavaScript; direct email and server-submitted acceptance/rejection offer alternatives. Please report a particular contrast, focus, zoom or screen-reader problem rather than assuming every combination has been tested.
